ABOUT ABOUT

Join Nashville prog rock trio Lines In The Sky at LCY for a night of progressive rock, featuring local prog and math rock bands Jack The Elbow, Sequoia Trail and Vital. Doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 6:30pm. Don't miss this incredible show!

Nashville’s progressive rock trio Lines In The Sky’s undeniable musical prowess has earned the band performance spots supporting bands such as British Lion, Tigercub, Hail The Sun, and Thank You Scientist on their Nashville tour stops.  In addition to the trio’s upcoming 2024 tour dates, LITS has played as direct support for Grammy-nominated rock giants Skillet at Milwaukee’s giant Summerfest 2022, as well as international progressive rock event RoSFest on two occasions, which has hosted the likes of Haken, The Pineapple Thief, Bent Knee, and many more modern and traditional progressive rock acts.  Influenced by bands and artists ranging from Coheed and Cambria to Peter Gabriel, LITS’ recent singles including “Abysmal Situations”, “Speed”, “Another Place”, and “Window” run the progressive-heavy-alternative gamut of rock genres, but with no question of authenticity.

Jack The Elbow is a 3 piece prog rock band out of Birmingham. With influences ranging from classic prog staples like Rush and Yes, to contemporary acts such as Coheed and Karnivool, Jack The Elbow blends the best of both worlds, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and new. The band is made up of Madison Langham (bass & vocals), Caleb Wilemon (guitar & vocals), and Michael Tucker (drums).

Sequoia Trail is a 5 piece progressive rock band from Birmingham, AL. Drawing inspiration from bands like Eternity Forever and Chon, Sequoia Trail’s punchy riffs and dreamy melodies create a soulful and electrifying energy. Members include: Janie Yi (Vocals), Branden Oden and Antonio Ortiz (Guitar), Will Ingram (Bass), and John Benstinger (Drums)

God famously loves all his children, but Vital makes you wonder if he should. Shaq’s favorite little prog rock band; known for writing songs about robots and for being the only prog rock band ever to kill Dr. Phil and replace him with a double. Members include: Ian (guitar & vocals), Zach (guitar), Seth (bass), Danny (drums).
